He’d never get around the fact that she managed to look as beautiful as ever; even in the morning. He watches her holding a cup of coffee, almost ready to start the day. Loki knows that she’d come home late again and hates it. He must’ve zoomed out ‘cause the next thing he hears is Jane saying, “You’re still with me there?”“Aah, just got…distracted that’s all.” He doesn’t know what’s wrong with him but when he’s near her he always starts to stammer like a little boy afraid he’s done something wrong. He would love to smack his head against some wall or the nearest desk would do. Jane looks at him closely then suddenly begins to laugh loudly.“Six months and you’re still unconfident in my presence? You surely weren’t like this when The Avengers were on your heels, my love,” she says with that little smile on her face. “I know you have this big ego that can barely fit into this room and I wouldn’t be with you if I didn’t like it. You know how to treat a woman so stop acting like a fool just because I’m around,” Jane says and leans in closely to whisper seductively into his ear, “The big bad wolf can show me what he got ‘cause I’m not afraid of him.” She kisses him quickly and is out of the door before he can respond.
All he can do is shake his head, a mere mortal, reading him like he was an open book. Loki loved it.
